Roald Dahl Day Extravaganza

Students from grade 1 to 5 came together to pay tribute to the beloved author and his whimsical characters, and it was an event to remember!

The youngest members of Grade 1 & 2 stole the show with their delightful character parade. Dressed as Roald Dahl’s iconic characters like Matilda, Willy Wonka, and the BFG, they paraded through the school, bringing Dahl’s magical world to life.

The third graders shared their enthusiasm by talking about their favorite Roald Dahl characters. Their heartfelt speeches and presentations showcased the depth of connection they have formed with characters like Charlie Bucket, James, the Giant Peach, and Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Students of Grade 4 & 5 collaborated to create a vibrant and interactive experience for everyone. They set up stalls for the other grades, offering a delightful array of activities. These included Roald Dahl-themed trivia, coloring sheets featuring Dahl’s characters, crossword puzzles, matching character games, and vocabulary challenges. The visitors had an absolute blast participating in these activities, and the enthusiastic collaboration between the fourth and fifth graders made the day even more special.

The celebration of Roald Dahl Day not only honored the brilliant author but also fostered a love for literature, creativity, and teamwork among our students.
