International Mother Language Day

 

The International Mother Language Day celebration at K.R. Mangalam Global School was a grand cultural showcase, where parents from diverse linguistic backgrounds came together to share the uniqueness of their languages and traditions. The school transformed into a mini-world tour, with colorful stalls representing cultures from England, Indonesia, America, and beyond. Students also explored the rich linguistic diversity of India, visiting states like Nagaland and Punjab through the lens of their mother tongues. It was an immersive experience, celebrating global and local heritage while fostering cultural understanding and appreciation among students.

Language week

During Language Week at K.R. Mangalam Global School, the parent community took center stage as guest lecturers, sharing the richness of their languages and cultures with students. From Indian languages like Hindi, Gujarati, and Bengali to international ones like Spanish, French, and Japanese, the diversity of the school community was beautifully showcased. Parents passionately introduced students to the nuances of these languages, fostering a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity. It was heartwarming to witness such enthusiastic participation, strengthening the bond between parents and the school, and enriching the students’ learning experience.

Mothers' Day

K.R. Mangalam Global School celebrated Mother’s Day in grand style, inviting all the wonderful moms for an unforgettable day of relaxation and fun. The day unfolded with rejuvenating yoga, energizing fitness routines, and a vibrant dance session, offering mothers the perfect space to pause, unwind, and embrace some much-needed “me” time. The joy of bonding with fellow moms, sharing laughter, and dancing together created an atmosphere of pure bliss. It was a heartwarming celebration of the tireless member of every family, providing moments of connection, joy, and self-care—an unforgettable “me & we” experience!

Guest Lectures

At K.R. Mangalam Global School, parent collaboration through guest lectures adds a unique dimension to the inquiry-based classroom experience. Learning first-hand from their own parent community has been nothing short of amazing for students. Whether it’s a pilot discussing transportation, a software engineer delving into the wonders of AI, or a musician exploring the magic of rhythm and beat, these real-world insights enhance the learning journey in unparalleled ways. The students are truly fortunate to have such an involved parent community, enriching their understanding and curiosity across various fields of study.

Parent Led Assembly

At K.R. Mangalam Global School, the Parent-Led Assemblies have become a heartwarming tradition, where the vibrant parent community steps forward to bring the spirit of important festivals to life. On the occasion of Eid, parents of Grade 3 and 4 students came together to showcase the significance and joy of the festival through stories, traditions, and celebrations, creating an atmosphere of unity and learning. Equally captivating, Nursery and Kindergarten parents enthusiastically celebrated Dussehra, infusing the assembly with energy and zeal as they highlighted the triumph of good over evil. These assemblies not only foster cultural understanding but also strengthen the bond between parents, students, and the school, making it a truly enriching experience for all.

PYP Parent Workshop

The PYP Parent Workshop for Early Years at K.R. Mangalam Global School was an engaging and informative event that introduced parents to the cornerstone of the IB curriculum – the inquiry-based approach. The workshop provided valuable insights into creating stimulating and thought-provoking learning experiences for children, encouraging exploration and creativity both in school and at home. Parents had the unique opportunity to observe classroom methodologies and actively participate in collaborative activities, showcasing their group efforts. It was a day of bonding for the school community, as two important pillars—the parents and the school—came together to support the students’ learning journey. This event strengthened the partnership, fostering a cohesive environment that nurtures both academic and personal growth.

Student Led Conference (SLC)

Student-Led Conference held in May 2024 at K.R. Mangalam Global School was a vibrant celebration of learning and growth. Through a series of engaging activities, students confidently showcased their progress and achievements to their parents, marking the completion of a brilliant academic session.  It was a joyous day for parents, witnessing their children proudly display their learning and skills. The event emphasized the importance of the 3-way partnership between students, teachers, and parents, fostering collaboration and reflection. A highlight of the day was the students’ portfolios, which offered a comprehensive view of their academic journey, creativity, and personal growth over the year.

Fee Payment

 

Parents of enrolled students should download the “Edunext Parent App” and use it to pay the school fee on a regular basis.Cash or Card payments are also accepted at the Accounts Office.

Late Fee Penalty

If the fee is not paid before the due date, a late fee of Rs500 per day (including holidays) will be charged till the end of the month. Thereafter a late fee of Rs1000 (including holidays) will be charged for each day till the 10th of the following month (beginning month of the quarter). Payments not arriving within 30 days of the Due Date shall result in cancellation of admission.

Transfer & Withdrawal

The request for the withdrawal should reach the accounts department (accounts@krmangalam.global) and Principal of the school two months in advance or two months (Notice Period) fee will be charged in lieu thereof.

Transport

 

K.R. Mangalam Global School provides transport facilities to all students, across Delhi/NCR. The presence of a certified conductor and bus driver, a female attendant, along with safety tools like first-aid kit, fire extinguisher and GPS tracking ensure the safety of our students in the air-conditioned buses.

To apply for school bus, you are required to fill the transport form and submit it to the admission team (if new student) or the class teacher (if an existing student). The request for a seat in the school bus will be subject to availability of a seat in the bus and no extension/ diversion of the bus route is assured.
