Guardians of our future.

Guardians of our future.

At K.R. Mangalam Global School, we follow the International Baccalaureate learner approach to design our curriculum. The entire learning experience is thus designed to align with the International Baccalaureate’s aim to turn young minds into conscientious and collaborative guardians of the future of the planet, united in their shared humanity and nurtured global perspective. The IB programmes at K.R. Mangalam Global School, focus on a well-rounded education and holistic development of the students. The approach to learning at K.R. Mangalam Global School is primarily focussed on developing a child’s thinking, research, communication, self-management and social skills.

Curriculum

  • PYP
  • MYP

The Primary Years Programme is designed for children between the ages of three and twelve years. The curriculum framework has been designed around Knowledge, Concepts, Skills, Attributes and Actions - as the core value points. The Programme also focuses on 5 areas of development-

  • Personal, Social, and Emotional Development
  • Physical Development
  • Communication and Language
  • Understanding the World
  • Expression Through Art

All our educators focus on encouraging a sense of inquiry in the students. Previous knowledge or Diagnostic Assessment data is used to plan the learning experiences for each individual student. "It takes a village to raise children" and at KRMGS, parents and teachers work together to achieve just that.

The Middle Years Programme is targeted at developing the students’ confidence in dealing with the world and helping them navigate the transition from childhood to adolescence. The MYP is designed for children between the ages of eleven and fifteen. At this age, they are expected to grow with a sense of responsibility and accountability beyond themselves. We help our students find ways to connect more with the world around them and develop intellectually to go beyond academic requirements.
