“Abha Hanspal –  Middle Years Programme Coordinator and the Diploma Programme Coordinator  overseeing all aspects of the Programmes curriculum at KRMGS with a passion to improve learning and teaching standards. After working with the big four firms – E&Y and PwC for a number of years, I realized that my true calling was in the field of education where I took up teaching Economics and Business Management as my first assignment in school. Before joining KRMGS, I worked as the IB Diploma Programme Coordinator and IB Examiner where I drove multiple initiatives to develop teaching practices and build effective assessment strategies for middle and senior school. Working with international educators over the years, makes me a firm believer in building independent learners. My goal is to prepare children to succeed in a global environment. I believe in connecting children to the community around them through authentic, real world experiences, thereby creating socially responsible global citizens with strong values and the skills who can contribute to the future world. “

” Sandeep Kaur – Primary Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator. Having previously worked at Heritage International Xperiential School and Pathways School, Noida, I have over seven years of professional teaching experience in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. As a keen learner and inquirer, I have contributed significantly to the teaching community through my published blogs – ‘Developing a conceptual understanding of a system’ and ‘Fostering agency in assessment’. I have successfully conducted and shared best practices with over 100 teachers through national and international workshops on project-based learning, inquiry, balanced literacy, math in the real world, etc. Through my practices and workshops, I have always advocated honoring students’ choice and voice in learning and assessment. This has helped me to encourage my students to become independent, lifelong learners. I believe that learning is a continuous process and have recently received a fully-funded scholarship to pursue Master’s in Education from the International Baccalaureate. “

Harpreet Kaur — Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher . Having previously worked at Ardee School and Pathways School, Gurgaon, I have over four years of professional teaching experience in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. Teaching is an enriching art.Every moment is soaked in learning . My students are a great source of inspiration to me. They bring in new information, new perspectives, and new points of view. I enable and support students as they develop the approaches to learning they need – for both academic and personal success. My aim is to help each learner explore and construct their own personal and cultural identities.

My journey in the field of education started post the internship I did with Sesame Street Workshops, working with their content team on the availability of the online tools and games for kids. The love for learning and teaching encouraged me to enter as a facilitator. I like my classrooms with an approach of guided learrning, where students explore and learn exercising their agency and choice. My classroom discussions and learning have an interdisciplinary approach, as I feel connecting the dots from various disciplines helps the child relate to the concept and content in a better way. I strive to get the best of learning from my students respecting their pace, understanding and differences, and craving out confident individuals. This is my 7th year as a librarian in an IB World School and overall I have 13 years of experience as a school librarian. A Librarian  in an IB school wears many hats: one of a curator of resources, collaborates with teachers to build the collection, co-teach with them, maintain the library, work with the technology department and use technology tools to sharpen students’ understanding. I  nurture international-minded lifelong learners and readers.”

Shailendra Gaur –  MYP Physical Education Facilitator. This is my 4th session as a MYP Teacher. My goal is to develop quality players for national and international  level . Develop interest at grassroot level for physical development among younger children and proper exercise and eating habits among older children. A  healthy and fit human being is effective or productive only if, he / she is useful to mankind. My key role as a physical education facilitator is  to ensure effective learning, share my knowledge and passion with the students and make them fall in love with sports. Sports is all around us. We just need to acknowledge it. With my best of knowledge I hope my students will enjoy and experience all game in broader ways. Looking forward to an exciting academic year. 

Akanksha Shankar – I have previously worked in schools offering international curriculum both in India and abroad. I have genuine enthusiasm for my work. I am able to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents and pupils. I have commitment and good team work skills to bring about the positive work environment. With a firm belief that every child is unique and learns at her own pace I respect the individual perspective and views of my learners. Look forward to a very fruitful year ahead. 
I have done B.Pharm. from CCS university. Thereafter I pursued B.Ed. and Montessori Teachers Training from Amity Centre for Educational Research and Training. I have taken up professional development courses from PYP Online workshop organized by IB Global Centre Hague and Online Teacher development courses by British Council.

Ankita Khanna – Grade 1 PYP facilitator. A keen learner I am a passionate educator with rich teaching experience. I am a life long learner. I have been facilitating for 7 years now and have been assaociated with many prestigious schools. I firmly believe in independent learning. As an IB educator I aim to transform students as they learn, through dynamic cycles of inquiry, action and reflection. I believe that a teacher ignites the fire that fuels a student’s thirt for knowledge, curosity and widom.
 I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Apparel Desiging from J.D. Institute . Thereafter I did a Montessori course from MMI and B.Ed from Maharshi Dayanand University.

Isha Sawhney – PYP Tutor. I started my teaching journey 4 years back and have worked with The Ardee School. Since I am a certified Montessorian, I firmly believe in the quote by Dr. Maria Montessori, “The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, “The children are now working as if I did not exist.” I believe in having a student centered class and so I introduce various engagements where my students take the class forward and they look forward to coming to school.
With a graduation degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship from Delhi University , I did Montessori and Elementray Montessori course from The Ardee School.

Komal Khanna – Grade 4 PYP facilitator. I have over 9 year of teaching experience which includes 2 years with Pathways School, The Shriram Millenium School , The Mayoor School ( In affliation with Mayo, Ajmer). I am a keen learner and believe in building a socio- emotional bond with the learners to have a long lasting impact on them. A teacher is a combination of an educator, a mentor, a confidant and above all a friend to be able to make a difference in the lives of the children.
I hold a master’s degree in English Literature from Delhi University. Thereafter I pursued B.Ed from RKDF University, Bhopal.

Vandana Malhotra –A certified IB educator and MYP Facilitator with seven years of professional teaching experience in IB Schools.. As an educator I believe that we can inspire hope, ignite the imagination and instil a love for learning in our students. The best education is not given to students; it is drawn out of them. I also strongly believe in the quote by Albert Einstein,”It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” We as educators can shape the future of the child by building their creative and critical thinking skills. I am passionate about building skills of our learners as these learners are the future of the whole global community.
I am a Pharmacy graduate and Masters in Business Administration with specialisation in marketing.I also hold a bachelor’s degree in education (B.ed) from Maharishi Dayanand University and hold a diploma in French language from Belgium, Europe. I am also a nutritionist and presently pursuing masters in Food and Nutrition from IGNOU. A certified IB educator and a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert. I have also had extensive training from International Baccalaureate and have attended CAT 1 and CAT 2 workshops.
