A Three Way Conference was organized on Saturday, January 25th 2020 to share the learning and progress of students with the parent community.
A Three-Way Conference is an opportunity for students to share their strengths, areas for growth and to set a learning goal with their parents and teachers. The purpose of Three-Way Conference is to value the students’ strengths, to encourage self-direction in their learning and to enhance the development of a growth mind-set in our students.
As the majority of the talking was done by students, they did an incredible job reflecting on and verbalizing their reflections about their learning and themselves as learners. This way, parents got many valuable insights about their child’s learning. Students shared their learning and expressed themselves. Parent also shared their thoughts and how they feel about the progress of their child. They were happy to know about the learning through the child himself, which is different than the regular parent-teacher meetings.
